Operational Board Memo - The 2007 UVRF Board of Directors has voted to change the organizational structure of the club to an all-volunteer club, which should make the club financially healthier and better incorporate the interests and energy of its members.

Beginning with the 2008 Board of Directors, each director will have an area of operations which he/she is responsible for overseeing, supported by a group of member volunteers. At the annual membership meeting, which has been moved to December 1, 2007 (location TBD), 2007 UVRF members will choose the director of each of these positions by voting either for the slated candidate or an independent candidate.

If you are interested in filling one of these positions, please email Elizabeth Glenshaw, UVRF secretary and nominating committee member. The October newsletter, which will be arriving shortly, contains more details about this change as well as a look forward into 2008.
